Our Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Wellspring Service Lead, Sheilagh Armstrong took part in the Wellspring Sleepout on 22nd October 2022 and managed to raise a very impressive £842. Mastercall have agreed to match fund, resulting in a grand total of £1,684.
This is a yearly fundraising event aimed to raise awareness and vital funds for the homeless.
By sleeping rough even though for only one night, it helps to understand and shine a light on the homeless and the difficulties they face.
The wellspring is a fantastic charity, based in Stockport Town Centre who help the homeless and disadvantaged.
It offers support to those who are homeless or at risk of losing their home. It provides resources, understanding and care.
Issues that they help with include housing, physical & mental health, domestic violence, substance misuse, debt, unemployment, illiteracy and social exclusion.
Mastercall are proud to support this amazing charity where we hold healthcare services 5 days a week. We offer face to face drop in clinics, remote consultations and outreach provided by a GP/ANP. Click here to view our work with the wellspring in our services section.
