I had been struggling to see anyone about my very painful ear infection and was sent to this service.

I was dealt with by two of the nicest people that you could ever wish to meet. Firstly the receptionist then by the GP.

I wish I’d known their names as I’d love to tell the world how wonderful and kind they were and how they went out of their way to help me with this non serious but VERY painful situation.

We are so lucky to have people like this working for the NHS.

Amazing service. My GP, unable to get me an appointment, sent me here. Phonecall and appointment set within two hours and despite running five minutes late thanks to traffic was welcomed with a smile.. receptionist is incredible, instantly puts you at ease, saw I was struggling and got me a water and seat. Saw a doctor within ten minutes and quick exam helped get the medication I need..

Have always had good experiences here. Referred through 111 for out of hours appointment. I’ve always got seen within an appropriate time frame (111 assess the urgency of the matter) and been given the treatment I needed to get better.
The clinic is always clean and inviting, not too crowded and you don’t have to wait hours in the waiting room like in A&E.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the staff at Mastercall Healthcare in Hazel Grove this evening. the lady on the front desk was lovely and then the triage nurse , Amy, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable.

I just want to say a huge thank you for the speedy response to my request for medication today.
I had called my GP surgery needing an appointment but was told the surgery was closed. I was told that I would be dealt with by the out of hours service, which happened to be Mastercall Healthcare.

Within 35 minutes I was called back by a health professional who was not only easy to talk to, she showed great empathy, and sorted out a prescription for me to pick up immediately at my local pharmacy.

I have never ever had such a speedy response to a health issue. This was such a refreshing change from being told to ‘try again tomorrow’ or ‘sorry, there are no appointments for the rest of this month’. At a time when when the NHS is stretched to capacity and patients are sometimes dissatisfied, I felt it was important to give credit where due. Many thanks for a great service.

I have completed my evaluation for my Mastercall Placement. I have had a fabulous time here. Their breadth of services has allowed me to experience a wide range of community work that is undertaken in clinical settings and patient homes.  I have been supervised by lots of people with different clinical backgrounds which has helped provide different perspectives to situations than I would experience in a hospital. 

However the best thing about Mastercall has been the friendliness and professionalism from everyone, and I mean everyone.

Everyone I have worked with has left a mark of how I can be a better nurse in the future. They have helped me think about the kind of nurse I want to be, rather than the kind of nurse I don’t want to be. So, I am leaving Mastercall with a very positive experience and would definitely recommend to other students.

The doctor who spoke to my daughter was thorough, polite and went over and above to reissue her prescription, checked for an open pharmacy and arranged for us to get it picked up before they closed at 10pm. He was fantastic sorting out the prescription.

Dr Mobin saw me this Sunday afternoon about the severe and sudden pain in my calf. He was excellent. He was very thorough in his examinations; he explained what he was checking for with each one and explained how he reached his conclusions. He very kindly and patiently answered all my questions. The prescribed medicine he gave me is already working so as well as being a lovely man, he knows what he is talking about:) Thank you very much, doctor.

I was really poorly on Sunday night, one of my symptoms had me use the nhs 111 website, which advised a doctor/nurse call me. They called within half an hour and passed me to my local out of hours, and a doctor rang within 20 minutes. They advised me to go to Mastercall which at the time I couldn’t get out of bed so offered a home visit, the nurse in me didn’t want to take an apt up for an abdo examination but they did send a driver to drop medication off within an hour and a half.

When I came out of hospital just couldn’t cope at all, then the nurse rang me for a chat from the centre. She organised so many things to make life easier for me and less stressful, but also having her number to ring if I needed help was a blessing. My health problems are long term but the service was the main thing that helped my recovery and still does.
