A message from our CEO, Michaela Buck
As we celebrate 30 years of Mastercall Healthcare, I find myself reflecting not only on what we have achieved, but on the extraordinary people who have made it possible.
For three decades, Mastercall has had the privilege of caring for people at some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. Every day, every night, weekends, bank holidays and Christmases, our dedicated workforce have been there when patients have needed us most. It is a responsibility we have never taken for granted.
As a proud social enterprise, our purpose has always been about far more than delivering NHS services. It has been about making a positive difference to people’s lives, strengthening our communities, and ensuring that every patient is treated with compassion, dignity and respect.
Over the past 30 years we have been privileged to provide outstanding healthcare across Stockport, Trafford, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Warrington, the Wirral and Merseyside, continually evolving our services to meet the changing needs of our patients and the NHS.
Today, my greatest thanks go to the remarkable people of Mastercall. Our clinicians, call handlers, drivers, administrators, operational teams, support services, managers are the heart and soul of our organisation. Their professionalism, kindness and unwavering commitment mean that thousands of patients receive safe, high-quality care every single day. They consistently go above and beyond, often quietly and without recognition, simply because they care. I could not be prouder to lead such an exceptional team.
Our journey has also been shaped by the trust and collaboration of so many partners. Thank you to our colleagues across the NHS, primary care, ambulance services, hospitals, commissioners, local authorities, social care, voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations, and all those who have worked alongside us over the years. Together, we have achieved far more than any one organisation could ever accomplish alone.
Thirty years is a milestone, but it is not our destination.
As we celebrate our past, we also look to the future with optimism and ambition. We remain committed to our purpose of delivering outstanding patient care, supporting our communities, embracing innovation, and creating an organisation where people truly Belong, Grow and Thrive.
To every patient who has placed their trust in us, every colleague who has dedicated their talent and compassion, and every partner who has walked alongside us on this journey; THANK YOU!
You have helped shape Mastercall into the organisation it is today, and together we will continue making a difference for many years to come.
