Dr Rooney, our organisational Medical Director, was born in London and trained in Manchester qualifying in 1983. He was a full time NHS GP in Stockport from 1989 to 2017. He was part of the working group which set up the Stockport Doctors Co-operative in 1996, which evolved into Mastercall Healthcare. He has done sessional and management work for Mastercall ever since. He has been in his current role since 2017. When not at Mastercall he is frequently glimpsed walking his dogs on the hills around Disley.
