Mastercall Healthcare is a finalist in the UK Social Enterprise Awards, recognising it as one of the country’s most innovative and impactful businesses.
Social enterprises are mission-led businesses that reinvest or donate at least half their profits for a social or environmental purpose. Mastercall is an award-winning Social Enterprise organisation, providing a range of ‘Out of Hospital’ healthcare services across the North-West of England and Nationwide.
As a patient centred organisation, we provide innovative, safe and effective high quality care, helping support the NHS to deliver their strategy for ageing well/living well. We help prevent hospital admissions wherever possible and safe to do so, by providing placed based care in the heart of the community. Our comprehensive range of services include GP Out-of-Hours, Urgent Dental Helpline and Community IV to name but a few.
Our extensive Social Value commitment is helping tackle digital exclusion in the more deprived areas of our communities which also has a significant environmental benefit. The funding of a meal delivery service through Cracking Good Food has seen thousands of meals delivered to recently discharged hospital patients in Stockport and Trafford who are facing food poverty. Numerous charities including Dementia Groups, Mental Health charities, hospices and community organisations continue to be supported by Mastercall.
These prestigious national awards are run by Social Enterprise UK to recognise sector-leading excellence and innovation across a diverse range of criteria, and Mastercall is shortlisted in the ‘Public Services Social Enterprise of the Year’ category.
